Secondary Swimming Carnival

On Tuesday 3rd March the Secondary students competed in their own MDHS Swimming Carnival. With the recent changes to DISA and our Primary swimming, this means our Secondary students were still able to have their own carnival, which is fabulous, as we have some very impressive swimmers in the High School. The students all showed what it meant to be a good sport, have fun with their peers and participation. Thanks to everyone who volunteered, from cooking the sausage sizzle, setting up and packing up and having a role during the carnival. It's great that the students were given this opportunity. Thanks to Mrs Clarke for organising!

Congratulations to those who won awards on the day:

DISA Swimming Carnival

Last Friday our Primary students traveled to Trayning for the DISA Swimming Carnival.  Well done to all of the students who participated and won awards.   It was fabulous to see so many great little swimmers from Muka. Congratulations to Muka Gold for taking out the Meritorious Shield. Good luck to all of the students from Year 3-6 participating in the Interschool Carnival in Merredin on Monday.

MDHS competed as Muka Green and Muka Gold. The results are below:

Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.  It is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community.  Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it.
