We will be farewelling a number of staff at the end of this year. Rowena Apollonio, Mithuna Thiravasagan, Nyssa Fabrizzio, Melissa Jackman, Chris Willis, Morgan Davies, Sam Trevethan and Larissa Webley will be leaving us to take up positions in other schools or to pursue other options. Romina Russell will be commencing Parental Leave. Some of our support staff are also moving on. Kylie Quinn will be taking up a position at another school, Mary Whittaker is taking on family responsibilities and Bill Wallace is retiring. I would like to thank them all sincerely for their contribution to Carwatha and wish them all the best for next year and the future.
Reports will be available online through Compass from Thursday December 15th.
Students will be dismissed at 12.30 on Tuesday, December 20th and school begins for students next year on Tuesday, 31st January.
As this is my final newsletter before I retire at the end of the year, I would like to thank all of you for allowing me to be part of your lives. I have developed valuable and valued relationships with students, staff and families in the 28 years that I have worked at Carwatha. I love this school and I have loved every minute of my association with it. Carwatha will always have a very special place in my heart and I will miss it more than words can express. Carwatha College P-12 is a great school where there is a strong sense of community. I know that it will continue to go from strength to strength in the years to come.
Best wishes for the future.
