Our School Values

Each of our classes continue to reinforce our school values as a part of beginning of the year experience and to help our students develop successful learning behaviours. We talk about respect and how to make choices that are positive such as speaking appropriately and keeping our hands to ourselves both inside and out. Students dicuss team work and what this looks like as well as talking about the importance of Integrity and Resilience. We believe that it is important that our parents and families help us by reinforcing these values at home and following up when we have conversations about what is happening with your child at school. The home school partnership is the only way for us to help children to leave primary school as great learners and excellent members of the wider community. If you haven't had the chance to have a meet and greet with your teacher to talk about your child's learning please do so as it is helpful for us and for your child.

School Camp

What a fantastic experience we just had on our grade 5 and 6 City Camp. A great way for students to experience some of the history of Melbourne. Our year 5 and 6 students represresented our school in such a great way showing respect and resilience as we walked and learnt some great history. The students enjoyed their first time ice-skating receiving many bumps and bruises but having a great go at it. Melbourne Star was a first time for many and Eureka was a test for those with a fear of heights but many of the students braved the Edge experience. Old Melbourne Gaol was interesting with many facts that our students and teachers weren't aware of. The experience like so many camps gave our students the opportunity to work together in a team as they found their treasures for our City Seeking. It was a great camp that gave the students plenty of opportunity to have a go and work together and leads well into our future learning about Governemnt and the history of Melbourne. Thankyou to our teachers Mrs Cheers and Miss Davies for giving their time and to our parent helpers Anthony and Jo for being wonderful helpers.

Congratulations to our Division swimmers Xavier and Elliot for their fantastic efforts. Good luck to Elliot for his swimming at Regionals in Butterfly.

Grade 6 tops

Just a quick note that we will be having our assembly at 2:30pm tomorrow and year 6 students will be receiving their tops.
