Dear Families,

The Carols evening was a great finale to celebrate the end of the school year and the pleasant weather made it even more enjoyable to sit back and enjoy the singing. Thank you to Terry Owens for the organisation and setting up of the stage and audio equipment and to the Parent’s Association for providing the sausage sizzle.

We have just launched a St Mark’s Primary School Facebook page and you can view the link to the teachers’ Christmas Shark rendition.

Merciful God, who sent thy messengers the prophets to preach repentance and prepare the way for our salvation:
Give us grace to heed their warnings and forsake our sins,

Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Stephanie Alexander Garden

Year 3/4 T

A great morning for gardening. We were able to harvest quite a lot from our school garden. Beautiful, albeit oddly shaped, bright carrots, lots of spring onion and some mint for our water.

Our lunch was delicious. Penne with an eggplant, onion, garlic and fresh tomato sauce, yummy bread scrolls filled with red and green capsicum, spring onion and cheese, the best ever guacomole dip and a salad of the imagination using the crunchy carrots from our garden.

Not much left on our plates...all eaten up!!

As this was the last kitchen garden session for the year I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the parent helpers and also to Mary. If it wasn't for all of you, this terrific program would not operate. Thank you.
