A special thank you to the Galilee Parent Association for their organisation, all parent helpers, students and staff in attendance.
This week, students in Years 1-6 elected their SRC and Social Justice Leader for their class. Congratulations to all the successful candidates. During Assembly next week, the new leaders will be presented with their badge. Parents/carers are invited to attend assembly at 2:40pm Wednesday in the Hall.

At Galilee, we have various lunch time clubs run by either Galilee Staff or private contractors.
Students from all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Students are offered the opportunity to apply their knowledge in both weekly inter-class tournaments as well as interschool tournaments ranging from regional to national level. David has over seven years of teaching and coordinating chess lessons and tournaments in a number of schools around Melbourne. David is devoted to providing the highest level of teaching as he has benefited immensely from the study and teaching of chess since a young age. Sessions are $12. If your child is interested in joining the Chess Club, please email David at email@example.com

As an extra layer of warmth, the jacket may be worn over the woollen jumper when wearing the Summer Uniform.
The rugby jumper is also part of the Sport Uniform only. It must not replace the woollen jumper when the Summer Uniform is worn.
Please speak to the classroom teacher for any clarification regarding the uniform or read the policy on the school website.
A reminder that students are not permitted to play on the playground before school. Staff on duty after school are supervising the front gate, including the footpath area in front of the school, therefore, parents/carers must be actively supervising their own child/ren on the playground.
