Fete Time

The fete committee has been hard at work finding donations for prizes, booking rides and organising craft for the fete. If you know of anyone who would donate prizes to the fete with recognition through advertising for them we would love more sponsors or donations.

Classes will be creating crafts to sell at the school stall. If you are a bit crafty and have any donations or ideas that they would like to add to our stall we would greatly appreciate it.

We are also looking for donations of scratchies for our Scratchie Scarecrow, (or $1 or $2 if you do not want to donate scratchies) donations of slabs of soft drink and donations of bags of share chocolates.

School Camp

Our grade 3 and 4 students demonstrated amazing resilience on school camp. September could be any weather and with our antarctic winds the students have been great in the cold. I cannot say enough how amazing our students were. They made us all proud as they walked around with others at the many places they visited and demonstrated our school values. They have been on the giant swing, flying fox, mechanical climbing wall and saw the Little Penguins at the beach. We got a break in the weather at the penguins and managed to see many of them walking home to their burrows. They are all looking forward to sharing their stories about the best camp ever!

Our swimming program was a great success. From Prep to year 6 the students were very confident getting in the water and had a great time going down the waterslide! It was once again a testament to their resilience as they had a go, even when it was a bit too scary!
