Education Week:Celebrating The Arts Education Week 2018 was a terrific opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all our students in The Arts., In Art we traced our hands and feet then drew our body and it looked like we were falling., Harmony O, Year 4., This term, we drew a falling in space project. We drew our body smaller to make it look further away., Daman P, Year 4., In Art, we drew a falling in space project. We learnt how to draw our faces. First, you draw the shape of your face, then you draw lines in the middle to help you line up your eyes, nose and mouth. We lined our ears up with our eyes., Daniel L, Year 4.

Year 6: Term Two Highlights This term has been very busy for the Year 6 students. In English we have been refining out creative writing skills by learning all about different poetic devices and language features. After exploring a variety of poems and narratives we started experimenting with our own writing and collected our best pieces in a writing anthology. Have a look at one of Jessica’s poems below!, In Maths, we have been consolidating our understanding of statistics and data by creating a Family Feud game of our own. We will be presenting the games in the last week of term., Here is us on our excursion to The Port of Melbourne where we went for Inquiry to learn more about trading in Australia. Check out the size of the ship in the background., We cannot wait to share our work from our Five Mile Creek unit at Domain Expo Night next term, here’s a sneak preview of some of our town plans.
