We are all very busy planning for 2019 and ensuring that both staff and students are prepared from day one. In 2019, the Duval Middle School model with be expanded from year 7 to include year 8. The feedback from staff, parents and students has been overwhelmingly positive and we have seen positive growth in students both academically and socially. Our staff who will be teaching in the Middle School next year have been completing professional learning over several Saturday’s. This professional learning has been facilitated by a Sydney based organisation, 4C’s Transformative Learning, and they will be our academic partners in the future. As the name suggests, we are working really hard to transform what learning looks like for both our staff and students and I thank our dedicated team for their time and enthusiasm.
